This Gin Dandy cocktail recipe comes from Martha Stewart.
Tip: When serving cocktails over ice, use larger ice cubes – they melt more slowly, preventing over-dilution of your drink. A small amount of melted ice could contribute to the overall flavour of your drink, but too much… Well, you know what they say ?
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 ½ cups pomegranate-flavoured liqueur
1 ½ cups gin
2 lemons, cut in wedges
- In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Let the mixture cool, then pour over ice in a large pitcher.
- Stir in lemon juice, liqueur and gin.
- Ladle into glasses garnished with lemon wedges.
