I’m already suffering from mild separation anxiety, and I still have the Volvo V40 at my disposal for another day. I can’t imagine going back to my little car; the mothership is an absolute pleasure to drive.
Yesterday I investigated how to customise the instrument cluster – none of the manuals I retrieved from the cubbyhole (Jade mentioned that you could probably fit two bodies in the boot; you can definitely add another in the cubbyhole; storage galore!) shed any light on how to do it. Finally I found this video clip:
After viewing it, I became determined to get the positive eco feedback symbol, a near-impossible task in Jo’burg traffic, but this morning I actually succeeded! Now that I’ve been an eco-conscious driver, I plan to make a little trip tonight, all about performance, and also travel a bit as a passenger.
If not for the tracking device I would’ve eloped with this car. Should you get the chance to test drive a Volvo, do it! But be prepared for coveting one afterwards 😉
