Malfy Gin Rosa is a gorgeous addition to any drinks trolley.

Truman & Orange, the premium drinks company behind Malfy Italian Gin, launched this blush gin just in time for summer. Other Malfy flavours include the blood orange Malfy Con Arancia,  the lemony Malfy Con Limone, and the classic Italian juniper Malfy Originale.

In the pink

Pompelmo Rosa (pink grapefruit) is the inspiration for Malfy Gin Rosa – an expert combination of juniper, grapefruit skins and rhubarb, which are infused in Italian grain spirit for 36 hours – this gives Malfy Gin Rosa that gorgeous rosy tone. The infusion is then blended with a second distillate of juniper, coriander, lemon peel, orange peel, Angelica root and Orris root for hours. Finally, everything is blended with pure, natural spring water from the Rocce Azzurre spring in the heart of the MonViso Mountain in the Cottian Alps.

I will be honest, the Malfy Con Arnancia was not my cup of tea, but this lovely spirit paired with Fitch & Leedes pink tonic is the bee’s knees.
