During a fit on insanity, I signed up for (another) foodie challenge. You may have seen a lot of conversation around #MissionSamsung happening particularly on Twitter.

The #MissionSamsung blog challenge, in conjunction with Webfluential, spans over eight months, include six challenges involving 60 bloggers who will participate in 18 missions with 13 prizes, all competing for one grand prize. This third mission features the Samsung Smart Microwave Oven. And don’t be fooled by the word “microwave” – short of doing the dishes, this dough-proofing, food-grilling, reheating convection wonder can do just about everything!

So, the first challenge is out: ‘Weekend Night Feast Challenge’ to be completed by Sunday 31 August 2014.

Basically we need to prepare “the ultimate gourmet pizza”, creating a dish that best describes us, and cooking the pizza to perfection using the convection function of the Samsung Smart Microwave Oven each of the finalists received for the duration of the mission.

Being the overachiever I am, and because I had time yesterday and can never be sure what the rest of my week has in store, I decided to get a head start. Maybe a trial run at the very least.

And the results were… perhaps not gourmet, exactly, but delicious! Recipe and pics to follow over the weekend, because I don’t want to reveal my hand before the cards have even been dealt properly 😉 I’m up against some proper foodies and other blogger heavyweights.
