10 000 views!

I’ve been anxiously keeping an eye on my stats since Jade pointed out that I was close to reaching 10K views (I hadn’t even noticed that; only that the blog has shown great growth). Obviously participating in the Ultimate Blogging Challenge helped me get here, as did my loyal readers (who clicked on every silly post); everyone that commented, shared, contributed (despite the risk of office rivalry). You guys are the best.

After what can only be described as the absolute worst two weeks in recent history (I’m speaking only for myself), you gave my this very special gift. Thank you for your support. Thanks for putting up with the personal stuff that creep in, for participating in the giveaways, for listening and chatting.

I seem to have deleted the posts from October 2010 when the SITC blog was started. It took me a long time (and those who know me, know I’m not so good with the patience thing), and I’d doubted what I did and my skills several times. Everything finally paid off, and hopefully the next 10K won’t take 30-odd months – but even if it does, it’s okay; I’m among friends.
