I’m not addicted to coffee, although it does significantly enhance my personality in the mornings. I can manage quite well without it over weekends (mostly), and don’t drink it past 11:00 in summer (it makes me feel hot – not necessarily like that – more so than tea does).
I also don’t like my coffee very strong, and (coffee connoisseurs will lambaste me for this) with lots of sugar and creamy milk. But there is something extremely happy-making about the smell of freshly ground and brewed coffee.
