Magical mimosas

Mimosas seem to be the only acceptable brunch tipple that’s not considered hair of the dog as far as I know. They’re way too classy and so versatile! I’ve rounded up ten mimosas that I think would be just wonderful to celebrate the season with. Curated recipes and images from Delish where you can find thousands of fantastic food and drink recipes.

Pomegranate mimosas

  • 1 cup sweetened pomegranate juice
  • 1 bottle bubbly of your choice
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish

Fill four champagne flutes with ¼ cup sweetened pomegranate juice and top off with bubbly.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds.

Lemosas

Lemosas mimosas
  • 2 cups lemonade
  • 1 bottle bubbly
  • Fresh blueberries for garnish

Combine the simple syrup, blueberries and lemon zest in a medium saucepan over a medium heat and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer mixture until blueberries have burst (about 5 minutes).
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes, then strain mixutre into a clean jar. Let cool completely.
Pour a tablespoon of blueberry syrup into the bottom of eight champagne flutes.
Follow with ¼ cup lemonade and top off with champagne.

Tequila Sunrise mimosas

  • Orange wedges for garnish
  • Sugar for rimming glass
  • 60 ml tequila
  • 1 bottle bubbly
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • Grenadine

Rim two champagne flutes with an orange wedge and dip in sugar.
Add 30 ml tequila to each flute and top halfway with champagne.
Fill with orange juice and a splash of grenadine.
Garnish with and orange wedge and serve.

Watermelon mimosas

  • 4 cups cubed watermelon
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons granualted sugar
  • 1 bottle bubbly
  • Mint for garnish
  • Watermelon wedges for garnish

Blend together the cubed watermelon, lime juice and sugar in a blender.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve and discard the solids.
Fill champagne flutes halfway with watermelon mixture and top off with bubbly.
Garnish glasses with a few mint sprigs and a watermelon wedge.

Dole Whip mimosas

  • ¼ cups of sugar to rim the glasses
  • Pineapple wedges
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • â…“ cup coconut milk – not canned
  • 1 bottle bubbly
  • Whipped cream in a can for serving

Pour sugar onto a shallow dish.
Run a pineapple wedge around the rim of six champagne flutes and dip in sugar.
In a tall galls, stire together the pineapple juice and coconut milk until combined.
Divide between the champagne flutes and top off with bubbly.
Garnish each flute with a swirl of whiped cream and a fresh pineapple wedge.

Arnold Palmer mimosas

  • 3 cups lemonade
  • 2 cups ice tea
  • 1 bottle bubbly
  • Raspberries for serving
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Divide the lemonade and ice tea evenly between six champagne flutes.
Top off with bubbly, add a few raspberries and a lemon wedge garnish.

Lemonade mimosas

  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced, plus a wedge for rimming
  • 1 bottle bubbly
  • 2 cups lemonade or pink lemonade

In a shallow dish, mix lemon zest and sugar.
Rim six champagne flutes with a lemon wedge and dip in sugar mixture.
Place one slide of lemon inside each flute – bend if necessary.
Fill the flutes halfway with champagne and top with lemonade.

Moscow Mule mimosas

  • ½ cup sugar for rim
  • 1 lime, sliced into rounds
  • 120 ml vodka
  • 120 ml ginger beer
  • 120 ml bubbly
  • 60 ml orange juice

Rim two champagen flutes with a slice of lime and dip in sugar.
Divide the vodka, ginger beer, bubbly and orange juice between the glasses and serve.

Mimosa margaritas

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • ½ cup tequila
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • Lime wedge for rimming glasses
  • Coarse salt for rimming glasses
  • 1 bottle of bubbly
  • Orange and lime slices for serving

In a pitcher, combine orange juice, tequila and lime juice, and stir.
Rim four coupe glasses with lime and dip in salt.
Pour in orange juice mixture and top off with bubbly.
Add slices of orange and lime before serving.

Apple cider mimosas

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 bottle bubbly

On a small plate, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
Dip four champagne flutes in water to wet the rims, then tip in the cinnamon sugar mixtures.
Divide the apple cider between the flutes and top off with bubbly.
