As summer draws to an end, Starbucks is rolling out fresh food nationwide with a delicious new menu of freshly prepared and ready-to-go snacks and treats. They invited me to try some of it.
Some of their new offerings include the granola pot, a breakfast favourite made with granola, double thick yoghurt and a blueberry topping, and the fresh salmon trout and cream cheese bagel with baby spinach.
Starbucks’ iced espresso beverages
Starbucks has also added a selection of new iced espresso drinks to their menu, including the iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso, iced cocoa oat shaken espresso and the iced white mocha oat shaken espresso. The drinks combine the smooth and naturally sweet Starbucks Blonde Roast with a creamy oat dairy alternative shaken with ice and flavouring and topped with oat milk for a cool coffee with a complex finish.
Unfortunately, I can only drink decaf, so I’m missing out on these drinks. I’d have loved to try them all! Pop in at your local Starbucks, grab one and let me know if it tastes as good as it sounds.
