Largavita Bioscience recently invited me to the media launch of their NADplus+ Complex, where I received a month’s supply to try at home.
I made the decision to pay more attention to my health this year – specifically my physical health (I spent a fair amount of time and money on my mental health last year). So, I did the DNAlysis group of tests and met with a dietician. When I received the invitation to the NADplus+ Complex launch, I asked said dietician what she thinks of it. Because I had just purchased a selection of supplements, she advised that it might not provide additional benefits, as I already get sufficient supplementation from that recent purchase.
What is NAD+?
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide is a naturally occurring coenzyme with a very intricate function that I’m not going to try and explain here. You can read up on it on the Largavita Bioscience website.
What is NADplus+ Complex?
Our modern lifestyles result in stress – not only mental and emotional, but also through physical elements such as pollution, free radicals, poor diet, etc.
Thanks to many advances – in medicine, technology, industry – we now live a lot longer than previous generations. But that doesn’t mean we live better. The incidence of chronic health conditions continues to increase.
The NADplus+ Complex was developed by Dr Gys du Plessis and his team. Dr Du Plessis has a keen interest and passion for antiaging and aesthetic medicine, and he’s spent a lot of time to create a unique combination with 19 active ingredients that support healthy aging.
Three complexes
The combination of ingredients makes up three complexes, each with a very specific function:
- Antioxidant complex actively targets free radicals and provide protection against inflammation.
- NAD+ complex enhances cell energy, protects DNA, and has scientifically proven anti-ageing properties.
- Detoxification complex that aids liver regeneration and detoxification.
My NADplus+ Complex experience
It was a bit of a challenge to take the supplement, mainly because you have to take it after breakfast and lunch, and I hardly ever eat breakfast (yes, I know I said I’ll be better) and never have lunch at a set time. So, I forgot to take it more often than not. And when I did remember to take them, I didn’t feel much of a difference. I put this down to already being supplemented up to the gills.
I truly believe these will make a difference in your life if you’re not currently taking any supplements. It is one of the most comprehensive additions to a modern lifestyle – no matter how healthy your diet, I don’t think you get everything or the right quantities from just food alone. BUT you can’t replace a balanced, colourful meal with a capsule – even if it’s as cool as the NADplus+ Complex
