Raw they are blue
Not sure why there’s one on the cover
(Oh meh, I’m just going to stop there now…)
The Rosie Project sounds like a book I could completely relate to, and I’ve just added it to the top of my list of books to read. In short, it is about genetics professor Don Tillman’s quest to find the perfect woman. He develops a scientifically rigorous, sixteen-page questionnaire. So it is simple really, right?
I have my doubts, but then, let’s be honest, when it comes to matters of the heart I’m somewhat jaded.
Penguin Books South Africa, in conjunction with @ProfDonTillman, is running a fantastic Valentine’s Day competition. You can take Don’s scaled-down, ten-question quiz to see if you are suitable to the professor. (You can also do a quiz to see which character from the book you are; now I’m even more intrigued!)
Okay, so back tot he competition. Hop over to the competition page on Penguin SA’s page, take the quiz, fill in the form and whether you’re compatible with Don, and you could win R1 000 towards a romantic dinner date, PLUS a copy of The Rosie Project. Personally I’m more excited about the book, and if I win, the romantic dinner will be more of a vexed girl’s night out event. Unless Penguin can somehow also provide a suitable man guy (which I know, is not explicitly included in the prize, but surely they can organise something).
Enough babbling from me. Go! Take the quiz. Enter (or don’t, so I can win). Buy me the book. Find me a Valentine. Do all – or some – of the aforementioned, and have a great time doing it.
