NutriBullet is super versatile. It is one of the best press drops I’ve received, and as promised, this weekend I used it to blitz some boozed-up slushies.
Syllable’s Strawberry Rose
I love Hendricks Gin. It’s definitely in my top three, if not number one. Inspired by its hints of rose I grabbed a punnet of farm-fresh strawberries from the Irene Market on Saturday.
- 30 ml Hendricks gin
- 15 ml elderflower and rose cordial
- handful of ice
- handful of strawberries
- couple sprigs of mint
Blitz all of that in your NutriBullet until you have a lovely slushie consistency and pour it into a glass. It has a bit of a kick neat, which is not necessarily a bad thing but is easily fixed with Fitch & Leedes pink tonic.
Macadamia Mango Moment
I’m nuts about Still 33’s Jenny – a macadamia nut gin. It has a smooth finish with just a hint of sweetness. I decided to pair it with succulent slices of mango and a dash of elderflower cordial.
- 30 ml Still 33 Jenny
- 15 ml elderflower cordial
- handful of ice
- sliced mango
- mint (optional)
Blitzed in the NutriBullet, I finished this off with a classic Schweppes tonic. Made lots of fizziness. Was wonderful!
Ruined Symmetry
Sometimes things should be kept simple. And some people don’t like that brain freeze feeling. Mother’s Ruin is another of my favourite gins. It comes with a bunch of recipes I want to try still, but that’s for another day and another post.
- 30 ml Mother’s Ruin
- 15 ml Symmetry floral tonic
- ice
- Fitch & Leedes soda water
Pour it all together, give it a gentle stir and sip to your heart’s content. Lavender sprig garnish optional (I’m not a fan of floaters and other add-ons).
Soups, smoothies, slushy cocktails – the NutriBullet does it all and with great ease. Do you need another excuse to get one?
